Bunks are fun even if they aren’t shaped like pirate ships, different animals, race cars, or military camps. You can play games related to these topics using your imagination and some accessories that you can easily find around the house. First, let’s get started with the Double Decker game. As its name implies, your berth will transform into a Double Decker that you will drive and take your passengers through the imaginary city and take off at imaginary stops. You will have the opportunity to make your own route and introduce the passengers (who will be seated in both the lower and upper bunk) the different attractions that appear along the way. For a flyer, ask your mom for a hub cap. Every bus driver needs a hat, so see if your dad has an old hat around the house.

The pirate ship game is probably one of the most entertaining and fun games. You will be the captain of the pirate ship’s bed and you will sail through seas full of all kinds of dangers and enemies. Your crew will be seated on the upper bunk, behind your back, while the prisoners will be trapped in the ship’s jail on the lower bunk. As a steering wheel you can use the same hub cap and, since every pirate ship needs a pirate flag, you can draw one yourself or ask your parents to buy it for you.

All children love going camping in the woods. But let’s say there are no forests around the area where you live. In that case, you can enjoy camping from your room, actually from your bed. Exactly, you can transform your bunk into a tent and pretend that you are in the middle of nature. Take a sheet and hang it from the upper bunk so that it covers the space between the two beds on all sides. That will be your tent. Turn off all the lights in the room, play a tape with forest sounds, and use just a flashlight to illuminate the place. Don’t make a fire in the middle of your bedroom. 🙂 Now, you can tell scary stories inside the store or hang out with your friends.
