And in 5th place, there is a Belgian restaurant! This is the Pizza è Bella, installed Place du Sablon, with its cute little terrace just in front of the bus stop! This small-sized pizzeria, which is often very crowded with eaters, was ranked 24th last year, a great comeback!

The jury’s criteria take into account the baking of the pizza dough, the crispness of the crust and the freshness of the ingredients.

Here is what the 50toppizza jury said: “A complete and cohesive expression of the Neapolitan style can be found in the center of Brussels. This is, in short, the experience you can expect in this well established restaurant where the dishes are served. traditional Neapolitans, especially those based on seafood, are accompanied by well-made and well-risen pizzas, baked in a wood-fired oven. From classic pizzas to more personalized and gourmet ones, you can feel the Neapolitan influence. the same goes for the service, which is attentive, professional but also cheerful and informal. It is also possible to eat al fresco. There is a good selection of beers, including Italian craft beers, and Italian labels. However, very few brands originate from the Campania region. “

Neapolitan pizza is distinguished by its light and fluffy dough. “All the products on our pizzas come from small producers in Campania, Italy”, explained to SoSoir Stefano Napoli, owner of the premises. Fresh mozzarella with buffalo milk, tomatoes from Vesuvius or use of Culatello di Zibello, an Italian charcuterie from the Province of Parma at 150 € per kilo, make these pizzas true concentrates of taste.
