There are two categories of angelfish diseases. These diseases can be contagious, so be sure to separate infected angelfish from other clean, healthy fish in your aquarium as soon as possible. The first is bacterial diseases of angelfish and the other is parasitic diseases of angelfish. Both are curable and could be prevented with proper care. You can quarantine your angels for 14 to 21 days and you should provide them with brine shrimp to help cleanse their immune systems.
