Barely reopened, the holiday villages are taken by storm for the whole week

Since the announcements of the last consultation committee of February 5, it is the excitement in the various holiday centers of the country. While hotels have been able to remain open, with restrictions, since the start of the second lockdown, this was not the case for campsites or other holiday villages. So there was still a week left to prepare everything, especially since reservations poured in from Friday evening! “On our side, it’s a real success, assures Lucia Sanchez, spokesperson for Center Parcs. We opened our doors this Friday and we already had 70% midweek occupancy. This number has evolved further and we should be almost full during the week. It is rather the Ardennes which is successful compared to the coast.

The same story goes for Durbuy and the managers of the Sunclass holiday center. “The bulk of bookings through our site were taken as of last Friday’s announcement. We can say that we are over 70% full and that we are going to have a week similar to that of last year. The delay was therefore eliminated in a very short time. We find a little positive and we are enthusiastic. For the Easter holidays, it starts slowly too, but we are focusing above all on the holiday week which begins.”, Explains Cécile Cornelisse, executive assistant of the holiday center.
