Do you know that unlike other marketing methods, your potential customers guarantee that bulk SMS will read them? That’s a BIG plus. Read on to find out how to take advantage of this element.

Rather, spend quality time doing the right things and doing them excellently and success will happen naturally.

Ok, back to the point. To add fire to what we’re talking about in this chapter, let me introduce you to a very powerful concept that I learned from legendary internet marketing coach, Mark Joyner. The concept is known as deadly ground battle.

Are you fighting a deadly ground battle?

In military warfare, there are many reasons why combat can occur. One of them that serves our purpose here is Deadly Ground. Mark Joyner paraphrases Sun Tzu on the Battle of Deadly Ground thus: “A Battle of Deadly Ground occurs when two forces meet and there is no escape route for either. It becomes a pure fight or death battle. .. and there can only be one winner. .”

According to him, in a Deadly Ground battle, the strongest combatant is always the winner.

Applying it to marketing or any communication process that has to do with persuasion, the strongest force is forever your prospect because all he does to win is simply ignore your ad. And she will have nothing to lose as a result.

Wisdom dictates that you MUST NOT engage in this type of battle at all.

But I see many businesses and communicators fight this kind of battle with their customers and prospects every day – battles that are always certain lose.

But with bulk SMS, it’s practically impossible to ignore text messages without reading them first. According to CTIA.org, 97% of text messages are read within minutes.

That is another compelling reason to adopt mass SMS in your communication and marketing campaigns.

Now, let me point this out (very importantly): If your prospect or customer reads your SMS, deletes it, and doesn’t take any positive action, it’s still a battle of Deadly Ground. Therefore, you need to design your message in such a way that it is useful to the prospect at the time.

How to do it is beyond the scope of this article, but it still needs to be said. There you have it, one of the phenomenal powers of bulk SMS. What prevents you from taking advantage of bulk SMS?
