The Chinese Competition Authority (SAMR) has fined twelve companies for illegal monopoly behavior. Those punished included global technology groups such as Baidu, Tencent Holdings, Didi Chuxing, Softbank and a company supported by Tiktok owner Bytedance, the regulator said.
