We love women at Ladylo – just look at the cover – even though we are five men and we formed Ladylo in 2013 in Brussels. The quintet also called on the beautiful voice of Gaëlle Mairlot for the titles “Wounded Knee” and “In / out”. It was in 2015 that Ladylo released his first album, City symphony, co-produced with Michael Larivière aka Redboy (Hollywood Porn Stars, MLCD). And here we find this love of beautiful pop-rock melodies combining electric guitars and keyboards. Ladyboy joins all these Belgian indie rock groups in the spirit who manage to be original with an Anglo-Saxon material.
