Invitation to the online press conference

The youth welfare office in Leibnitz (Styria) handed Walfried over as an infant to a convicted child murderer. After he is tortured, tortured and abused by the murderer, he is taken to a child psychiatric department of a state hospital. There, too, the torment continued until he was 16 years old. He did not go to normal school and had no chance of vocational training.

His official liability suit against the State of Styria has now been dismissed by the Regional Court for Civil Law Matters in Graz due to the statute of limitations. On March 16, 2021, the courts will now be disputed. We present the decision of the regional court and the new legal remedy.

In Tyrol there is a different approach, where the state waived the statute of limitations last year. It is high time that victims were properly dealt with in Styria and that responsibility was taken up.
