In the US state of Utah, a law is being debated according to which new smartphones should automatically be equipped with a mandatory porn filter, as reported by “Engadget”. The Conservative Republican-controlled legislature has now passed the bill, and the fate of the law is now in the hands of Utah Governor Spencer Cox. He can either block or sign the law until March 25th. However, the law can only come into force once five other states have passed similar measures.
