Review of blood relationships

A twisted legal thriller that satisfies both bravery and intrigue, Blood Relations from co-authors Kathy Cohen and Edward Cohen keeps you engrossed and hurt until its shocking finale.

Absolutely worth reading, this legal thriller takes readers to the hot and steamy place of New Orleans, where behind the closed doors of Munger and Cameron’s selective law firm, things turn out to be just as hot, and even hotter. And when young Kyle Cameron accidentally discovers his father’s unfaithful relationship with sexy femme fatale co-worker, attorney Laura Niles, he tries to alienate his father’s love interest. However, things turn dire when Laura Niles is found murdered and Jake, Kyle’s father, ends up in the middle of a circumstantial whirlwind of evidence that could destroy his career, marriage and even his life. Facing jail or execution, Jake has no choice but to trust his son and worthless lawyer, Kyle, who tries the case that would make or break him.

Fully a story that manages the ego, money, wealth and culture of New Orleans with proper storytelling and style, this narrative houses a complex set of intriguing and anger-provoking characters, as well as scintillating, bursting with personality with characters. bravely imperfect whose tremendous egos force them to cross seemingly inviolable borders, undeterred by the consequences. Especially attractive are the complex and prominent males, Jake and Kyle Cameron. Dysfunctional as father and son, both ladies’ men are struck by the attraction of the unforgettable and extremely carnal Laura.

Authors Cohen tell an authentic story that invites readers to a vividly painted setting wrapped in intense legal drama complete with plot twists and sexy interludes, leading to a read that boils both the blood and the senses. They tell a clever and intriguing story that immediately draws the reader in with their interlude revelations of dark pasts, bad decisions, family dysfunction, and legal drama, all buried deep in a web of deception, murder, and sex, the revelation of which remains. you kidnapped until the end. Also, I found the nod to the 1940s film noir Laura especially fascinating as it unfolds within Kyle’s psyche, further enhancing this well-written story.

Altogether, Blood Relations is a juicy adult-themed murder mystery that is well worth reading. I enjoyed the twisted plot, swimming in intriguing twists, dysfunction, drama, and fiery sexuality. Ultimately, this is the kind of book that should be considered a must-read for fans of legal thrillers.
