Confidences

**

MARIE NIMIER

A writer calls for confidences and settles in an apartment, blindfolded, to collect anonymous bits of life, memories, confessions, stubborn images. Until she stops the experiment and delivers her own confidence. Between the two, around forty bursts of life – of varying shapes, sizes, intensities – which reveal themselves as invitations to the imagination. There are nuggets there, the outline of possible short stories or novels, and it is these “flashes” that give the book its power, not its downfall.
