We need an adult in charge!

Regardless of one’s own political beliefs and preferences, any genuine analysis of the result of having our nation run by someone who is not ready for prime time and who seems to be focused on a populist agenda, for personal purposes! / The political agenda and self-interest has potentially dire and undesirable ramifications, etc.! The 2016 presidential elections, in several ways, were different from the previous ones. The eventual winner had absolutely no prior government experience, seemed unprepared (in areas), articulated a populist (but incomplete) message, and resorted to language, blaming, complaining, and unproven accusations, etc. There are indications, numerous irregular behaviors and actions that occurred during that campaign, whether or not the winning campaign was an accessory to these events. We have had our experiment, now, with an atypical, seemingly unsuspecting, often frivolous leader. Wake up America and bring sanity back to our system of government, and put an adult in charge of the most powerful government in the world. With that in mind, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review, and discuss 6 behaviors that we have witnessed, which are undesirable, in the President of the United States.

1. Lying: Americans benefit when they accurately believe that their president is worthy of their trust. When this happens, at crucial moments, he is better able to bring people together, for the greater good, and communicate with them, rather than with them. Fact-checkers claim that President Trump has lied, etc., at an alarming rate, never seen before!

two. Blame / complain: It is not leadership, when one refuses to take any personal responsibility, but constantly resorts to blaming and complaining, even if it is a relevant approach, or not!

3. Not prepared / not planned: A reality show host may be eligible, but that doesn’t mean they are ready to take on the duties of the position. We need a president who plans effectively, thoroughly learns and understands his daily reports, and surrounds himself with true professionals and experts!

Four. Equating economic conditions with public health: How dangerous, and irresponsible, for any public leader, to focus on the politics of the economy and the stock market, to the potential detriment of public health? While everyone would want to restore the economy, to something closer to normal, unless / until this is done, with a good eyeBy minimizing the health risk, no one will benefit in the long run.

5. Articulate without considering ramifications: Don’t mindlessly engage your mouth first! Shouldn’t this become mandatory behavior?

6. Stop the government, by- Tweet: People can enjoy social media, but. it is not the best way to run a government. President Trump uses this way of communicating, like a weapon, but, when public opinion goes against him, he proclaims, or is joking or simply repeating, what someone else said!

Wake up America, because we need and deserve better! Demand answers, instead of empty promises and rhetoric! We must do this, before it is too late!
