When the landlord is allowed into the apartment – and when not

If the doorbell rings unexpectedly, it is sometimes worth taking a look through the peephole. A flat-share resident recently reported to STANDARD that her landlord was standing in front of the door unannounced, who wanted to go into the apartment to look for an unspecified structural measure. The flat share resident was taken aback – and did not let him in. Because she suspected that he just wanted to check that his apartment was okay. The landlord had to leave again.
