After throttling: Russia threatens to block Twitter soon
Russia is threatening the short message service Twitter with a complete blockade – just a week after the social network was slowed down across the country. If Twitter does not respond to requests for the removal of prohibited content, it could no longer be available in a month, said the deputy chief of the Russian media supervisory authority Roskomnadzor, Vadim Subbotin, according to the state agency TASS on Tuesday.
