Ride Camels During the Marrakech Desert Trip
One of the most popular activities for travellers to do during their trip to Marrakech is to ride a camel across the dunes of the Sahara. It’s something that many people have dreamed of doing and the trip to the desert is an unforgettable experience. The desert is not a long journey from Marrakech, and the tour operators are very professional so it’s not too much of a hardship for the traveller.
The question is, can you ride camels during the Marrakech Desert Trip? The answer is yes, although there are a few things to consider. Camel riding isn’t for everyone and the camels are trained to carry tourists safely. You will be accompanied by a guide to ensure you are safe and comfortable. The guides will help you to climb on the camel and show you how to hold your position to avoid falling off. You will spend about an hour exploring the sand dunes before you return to the camp for a sunset dinner.
During this time, you will be able to see how the local people live and how they use the land for their daily lives. You will learn about the culture and history of the region from your guide and you will have plenty of photo opportunities to take away with you.
