Have you ever wondered why you are not doing as well in your home business work as you originally imagined you would? Have you ever wondered what it takes? After 4 years in the business as a work-from-home mom, I’d love to share the ingredients I screened together to answer your questions.
Too often, moms want all the answers delivered at once and fall victim to expert advice. What is an expert anyway? My dictionary says skills and knowledge derived from training or experience. Someone who knows everything does not say that they will lead you to success for free and will never unintentionally sidetrack you. The truth of the matter is that there is too much information for anyone to have it all and, although experience helps us make decisions about our business, just when you think you have learned everything there is to know about a subject, exchange things. The same products were not sold in 1950 as in 1960 or will be today. Times change, fashions change, technology changes, therefore business changes. I did not get my websites to the top of Google search engines on the advice of any Internet “experts”. I made it to the top of the search engines using advice from many different Internet “experts”.
The number one ingredient to working at home on Mom’s success is doing some research, research, and research!
Too often moms think that once they’ve set up their entire business, orders will start to flow, their pockets will start to fill up, and everything will be smooth sailing from then on. Is not true. When I had my first beautiful website full of beautiful products, I soon realized that my website was nowhere to be found in Google search engines and that I was not receiving orders because of that. I knew you had to appear on the first page of the Google search engine to get customers. I did my research, made changes, monitored the results, and did the same thing over and over again. Did all the changes I made work? No. Any? Yes. Now both of my website are on the first page of the Google search engine. I will continue to monitor my status and make changes if necessary.
Ingredient # 2 for working on mom success at home is trial and error, trial and error, ongoing trial and error.
Too often, moms believe that they will work fewer hours in their own business than when they leave home to work. Is not true. Your own business requires more hours. Hours to learn, hours to apply what you learned, hours to provide your product or service, hours to bookkeeping, the list goes on and on. However, there are certainly advantages to working from home. Being at home with young children or at home when your children come home from school, working the hours and days they prefer, not their employers, no travel time, traffic, saving money on gas, uniforms or expensive office clothes and more . Personally, I find it much more enjoyable to have lunch at home with my 3-year-old son than to sit in a business cafeteria with a sandwich from hours ago.
Ingredient No. # 3 to work at home with mom’s success is to work, work harder, and then work some more.
Too often, moms give up because they are not an overnight success. National statistics say that startups take 3-5 years to become profitable, and most businesses close before you’ve worked for a full year.
Ingredient No. 4 to work at home with mom’s success is don’t give up!
Put it all together and what we have, research, hard work, trial and error and don’t give up! I really believe that God wants us to be successful. It simply asks us to plant the seeds of our business, harvest the grain that is available for our business, prepare the flour for our business, mix the dough in our business, and bake the foundations of our business before we can taste the bread of our business. which is our success!
