Ironically, in the most delicate phase of fighting the pandemic, in which the state should strengthen the trust of its citizens instead of straining it, a series of incidents bursts that further undermines trust.
On the platform of the Vienna underground line U1, Stephansplatz station: a few dozen anti-corona demonstrators who shout their slogans frighteningly loud and ostentatiously do not wear a mask. Far and wide no policeman. The police are elsewhere, namely a few meters above these incidents on Kärntner Straße, where they surround some harmless young people in a martial formation who are caught and acted as an official in some Corona misstep.
