Use pure cypress oil in a sitz bath to treat BLADDER CONTROL PROBLEMS or a WEAK BLADDER and to decongest and promote healthy function of the PROSTATE GLAND and URINARY TRACT SYSTEM.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SIT BATH:
Fill your basin or tub with warm water, just enough to cover the bottom of your hips.
Mix 5 to 8 drops of pure Cypress essential oil, alone or mixed with other pure essential oils, in a dispersant such as a carrier oil (suggest jojoba or light coconut oil), milk or cream, or a tablespoon of honey.
PLEASE NOTE: Essential oils are not water soluble, you must use a dispersant when adding them to a bath.
Swirl the waters to evenly disperse the pure cypress oil mixture in your bath water.
Relax in the warm waters of Cypress for 5-15 minutes or until the waters start to cool down.
Repeat the sitz bath application once a day for up to 3 weeks. Then take a week-long break from bathing in the Cypress waters. After which you can continue with another cycle of daily sitz baths for up to 3 weeks as needed to cleanse and strengthen your bladder and prostate gland.
FOR A CLEANSING AND TONING BLEND add 1 or 2 of these pure essential oils with Cypress oil: Fennel, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Rosemary.
CAUTION: Avoid cypress oil during pregnancy due to its circulatory and hormonal effects. If you wish to use cypress oil during pregnancy, consult a qualified professional aromatherapist, as it can be especially beneficial in certain situations.
PLEASE NOTE: There are many cheap synthetic copies of fragrance oils, but they are not recommended for therapeutic use. For best results, buy the highest quality oils you can find. Use certified organic essential oils or oils that have been tested and do not contain pesticides.
