main components of the Fulton Electric Steam Boiler
The Fulton Electric Steam Boiler features a compact, self-contained design, allowing it to fit into tight spaces and deliver high-quality steam. It also offers a low energy consumption, helping facilities to achieve their sustainability goals and cost savings. The VSRT-E combines industry leading natural gas efficiency with zero emissions electric heating, providing the ultimate flexibility to operate on either fuel source.
The heart of a Fulton Electric Steam Boiler is its stainless steel water vessel and the heating elements are housed within it. The pressure vessel is fully insulated, which allows for a minimal radiation loss. Combined with the heating elements that are strategically placed inside the vessel, Fulton electric boilers have exceptional thermal efficiency.
All Fulton boilers use an industry leading burner and power plant that delivers a highly efficient, spinning radiant flame to efficiently burn fuel and produce clean, low emissions. Fulton’s combustion system is built and stamped to ASME code, registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, and UL listed for safety. This ensures that each boiler is designed, built and tested to rigorous standards that exceed ASME requirements.
What are the main components of the Fulton Electric Steam Boiler?
Fulton offers a wide range of electric steam and hot water boilers ranging from 12 to 1,000 kW (1.2 to 100 BHP) up to 300 PSI. Each is engineered and constructed to meet ASME codes, all applicable standards and local codes and is CSA approved.
All fulton boilers are equipped with a solid-state water gauge safety cut off to protect the equipment in the event of a low pressure situation. This feature is activated whenever the thermostat senses that the boiler has dropped below its set point. The water safety shut off will automatically turn the unit off and prevent further operation until the pressure has been restored.
Fulton’s world-class electric steam boilers are extremely efficient due to the heating elements being totally immersed in water and the pressure vessel is fully insulated. This results in minimal radiation losses and a carefully calculated heat to steam ratio.
This combination of advanced engineering and manufacturing creates the ideal conditions for a long, trouble-free operating life. Each of our boilers are backed by a full warranty and supported by an extensive global network of authorized representatives ready to help with all your service needs.
Fulton’s industry-leading VSRT steam boiler has become a fixture in industrial applications across the globe, delivering years of reliable, dependable performance with significant energy savings. Its time-proven design is simple, compact, and rugged, with a proven track record that spans decades. The VSRT uses Fulton’s time-proven Flue Gas Enhancing system, which maximizes combustion efficiency by feeding the flue gases through a cylindrical grid of heat convection fins that increase the surface area and transfer of additional heat to the steam. This produces high efficiencies with lower stack temperatures, and eliminates the need for periodic retubing of tubes or coils.
